Back up to $195 at my Canadian exchange, vs. $140 Mt. Gox.

Tons of missed arbs.

I'm not sure how the Casascius coin is legal then. And that may explain why eBay/Paypal won't people pay for them with Paypal.

The most vocal and active people with this are kids with no experience. It's ridiculous dealing with these people. The site blitty mentioned yesterday bitfloor.com (https://bitfloor.com) nothing but bootstrap and a database, and it's a "service" I'm supposed to send money to. Take a look at their money processor (http://localtill.com). This is like a bunch of sslp and againstallodds behind it all. No one that have dealt with offshore gambling for so long and have dealt with all the crooks should fall for this one.

RJ what about bitinstant.com ? I haven't had any issues with them.

FreeFall download the whole thing and stored it yourself. Do multiple backups. No need to trust other people. Only use those to cash out right away.

My exchange seems solid - cavirtex.com. Liquidity is low, but more than sufficient for my small-time needs.

BTC needs a lot more established exchanges. Mt. Gox's near-monopoly is no good.

That's what makes me believe in it long term. It may well crash hard along the way, but there's basically no way to kill it.

rito is being facetious

Guy would risk taking the pirates but won't jump aboard this ship??

Back up to $190 at Mt. Gox. $105-$266 on the day.

Matty, gotta love human resiliance.

Todays events kinda reminded me of the crash of 08.

On paper the US was totally bankrupt, yet peoples belief in the system ensured things were kept as business as usual.

We are seeing same mentality of resilience here.

won a bet at marathon bet finally. lost another 9 though.

i can't handle long term investing xpansive. pirates suck but that shits over in 3 hours.

The US will never be bankrupt as long as they have the military and the printing press.

I would really like to know what just happened. Volume is way up at my small exchange, and the price is right back where it was at this morning.

It looks like someone is fokking with us.

Massively manipulated markets, sounds like my kind of thing.

Yeah. There's really no quick way to trade cash into bitcoins, and I doubt that people keep massive amounts of cash at their exchange.

The rally shouldn't have been nearly that quick.
