Blitty...that saying doesn't carry as much weight as it used to. "This side of the Mississippi" dates back to dem dere olden times when the settlers were heading West to find GOLD! GOLD I SAY!

Anyway....Not many had ventured in that direction from the safety of the old colonies in those times, so when someone felt that they had something unique to boast about, they would use that line. Because not many were West of the Mississippi at that time. Get it? Do you fucking get it???




I just made that all up, but it makes sense in my head so fuck it holmes.
