It was good Tron, I especially liked that spicy Crab dip. I thought Woodfield was a nice mall, but this one is crazy in Aventura. The whole 3rd floor was a food court. And cleaner than any mall I've ever seen. I'll take a look at Reunion Kitchen.

At Hard Rock right now placing a few bets for college football.

Some of the 3rd floor is a food court.

My gym is on the 3rd floor of Aventura Mall (on the other side). Eataly, too.

Council Oak at Hard Rock is very good since they did a complete overhaul.

Three Egg Scramble with Black Truffles, shaved Parmesan, and toast. The toast was soft and fluffy. Eggs were perfection. No salt or pepper needed.

Fresh squeezed OJ
Americano
9.2/10

Wanted a place a bit closer to the casino. But this was a near perfect breakfast. A lot of unique things on the menu as well. Would definitely come back here.

Bae Korean Grill

Wagyu Ribeye.

My buddy got the Kobe.

The Crispy Bok Choy was a real surprise, very entertaining starter (garlic-umami soy, crunchy garlic & shallots, pomegranate). Super light.

8.8/10
Took .5 off because it was just too much for 2 people. The meal was fabulous, but I can get an equally good meal (with Wagyu Ribeye) near me for 1/3 the price. We didn't even order drinks.

Bae is great. Very loud but great. Everything I ate was delicious. The Bok Choy, the rib eye and the dessert (flan?) was OUTSTANDING.

Welcome to South Florida cost of living and traffic (I’m sure you got a taste of the traffic when you were near the Aventura Mall. It’s fokken ridiculous.

You got GREAT weather while you were here Cougs. It’s suffocating hot here 8.5 months out of the year.

I wished it was warmer for my short stay but yeah it was nice. Been here a bunch of times and summer is brutal. Traffic was like Chicago which I am used to. I can still taste that Bok Choy salad. Mu buddy got some desert there. Not sure what it was. It was amazeballs though. I had 1 bite.

Some discussion of possibly moving down here. Nothing in stone as of yet. The main things I would miss about Chicago area are Wrigley Field and the pizza. Not the deep dish stuff but the tavern. What I wouldn't miss - the taxes. I'd literally be giving myself a huge raise if I moved to Florida.

Before you move here, make sure you’re very comfortable with VERY high humidity 8.5 months out of the year.

The weather you experienced while you were here is weather that we get for 6-8 weeks out of 52.

What tends to happen is……it goes from a Feels Like temperature of 91 directly to the 50’s. We rarely get stretches of weather in the 70’s.
