Yeah not right to fuck with a classic. I miss Marty's rankings. These guys were singing praises of Makers, ...probably could've picked up Pappy off the shelf in 2010

Shit was so cheap back then, and I had so much disposable income.

😭

Matty, do your current rankings.
Maybe I'll do one of my own too, but would have to keep it to no barrel proofs, commonly found, under $50 retail maybe  would get complicated.

I was reading first pages. Tron: I'm 38 with kids. can't be drinking everyday  we've spent a good chunk of our lives here

This forum is a fucking time capsule.

wow I just reread that. Classic. And who's boingers and illmatick? Im sure had discourse with one of them before :hmm:

illy was a kid from Texas, early 20s young, was into hip hop and getting high

boingers was I think a post separation rubyn, can't recall the timeline

:bottom:

I'll love you forever and ever, you big jerkface. Thank you for giving me the funnest 5 years of my life thus far.

And no, my previous post wasn't a strike of any kind. I know that it isn't conventional for two people to end a relationship (or marriage) on a friendly note, but it shouldn't surprise anyone that we would take a different route than most.

(posting this so I can rearrange the rankings, bear with me)

Great list Matty. I personally would’ve moved a couple around, but that’s a great list!

FYI these lists are several years old and I don't agree with either of my #1s anymore but I need to refresh my memory and my palate before moving a bunch of them around.

Four Roses Single Barrel went way up and Buffalo Trace way down.

Wife is at the liquor store right now picking up a regular Four Roses.

:cripwalk:

Regular Four Roses is a bit rougher than I remember. Lots of young corn on the palate. Still works great as a mixer.

I would go with 5-3-9-7-10-2. ..out of your top bourbons

2-9-7-5-3-10 value wise. I don't know how old Elijah Craig is these days, but I doubt it's 12

Yeah Elijah Craig doesn't have an age statement anymore, haven't tried the new bottling yet.

I’m in Chattanooga RIGHT NOW.

Looking forward to check out distillery tomorrow.
