Today I learned why truckers piss in bottles/jugs.

Got stuck on the highway and there wasn't even a shoulder wide enough for me to pull over. I barely managed to dump the contents of my Gatorade bottle while I started peeing my pants. Some of it dribbled on the seat. Unbelievable.

I don't remember.

The worst for me was when I was a Notary Closing Agent covering all of Pa. Always on the road and constantly having to pee/poop.

That business went out of the business when the CEO embezzled millions in escrow funds got busted by the Feds and they shut it down. I saw that his brother whom I remember threw a molitov cocktail through a drug dealers' window died, cause of death undisclosed.

Also, in the roaring 20's blah blah blah blah

I just produced my 2026 sales plan with the help of ChatGPT - it took 5 hours of it asking me questions before it would draft a report, no joke. It had remembered all our conversations from earlier in the year. Incredible tool for business.

To answer your question - I sold a few booking orders for next spring. The slow season is a good opportunity for me to do another tour of the province and meet shop owners to discuss 2026. Shops are not ordering bikes throughout winter, they mostly hibernate and run lean until March. Many of them have closed up shop and many more will die off this winter - the bike industry in Ontario is in the middle of adapting and right-sizing itself. Lots of changes in the air.

We did end up getting those summer bikes in June, that was good.

And we just hired a new guy to lead the pedalbike division, super experienced and knowledgeable guy who worked for 20 years at two major bike & component brands. He's in Ontario too so he'll be a tremendous ally for me because of his connections.

But yeah right now it's all about preparing for next year. I'm flying to Ottawa on Friday for the holiday party and a big meeting.

I'm very excite for 2026.

Oh and I have a new $10k eMTB demo that's coming my way today, also excited about that. This one is the 2026 spec and it's my size too (my previous one was one size too small.)
