Per the Guardian:

In comments that were both defiant and threatening, the Russian president also told Ukraine’s leaders that their nation risked being dismantled as an independent sovereign state if they continued to resist Russia’s invasion.

“The current leadership needs to understand that if they continue doing what they are doing, they risk the future of Ukrainian statehood,” Putin said. “If that happens they will have to be blamed for that.”

All around great guy and perennially misunderstood pal Putin doesn't WANT to dismantle Ukraine and take it over as part of Russia but he doesn't have any choice because of how they are acting.

Frigging douchebag Ukranian leaders not just rolling over, conceding and accepting their assassinations. Poor Putin has to deal with so much shit.

This is what enormous ego and isolation (everyone afraid to say “no” to you) will do in extreme cases. What a sad human being Putin is.

VD, please post the link I would like to read the rest of this.

@Tron look I'm not going to argue with you on this continually but like me with Trump IMO you come to Biden's defense all the time or just hate on Trump. Give me specifics on what good decisions Biden has done for the country or bad decisions Trump did for the country. I believe specifics have been pointed out by me. If you just hate for being Trump, that's fine with me. Just say it!

Here's one for you, during Covid so many jobs were suspended/lost and people got free money needed/deserved. Then the jobs come back but why are we so shorthanded? Jobs are available but not everyone wants to work. We have a continuing massive supply chain issue which I clearly see from my place of work.

So Biden gives out the biggest Green Stamps increase in history. Do you get it, because I don't. Seems to me that lessens the need/want to work? Friend in NJ told MrsM Walmart's now offering $18 hourly to start. That's 37K a year.

From the Breaking News thread about Russia invading Ukraine ....
will any innocent people die?
Appropriate concern coming from someone who sees it daily on the streets of Chicago. Of course war always produces collateral damage but what do we call it in your city?
:dunno:

Appears my bad Arch ..... Tully gave me the reason why no response. :hattip:
Monkey we don’t talk about this, hence no reason to call it anything.

Wasn't it you Arch posting that you didn't give a fuk about people dying except friends and family and our small group of posters at GL? Maybe my feeble, senile self just got my brain to make it up? :dunno:

Can you give some specifics on good things Biden has done as president and bad things Trump has done? Surely you don't clean-sweep love everything Trump did and hate everything Biden does?

P.S. If Trump were in office there's ZERO chance you'd blame him for gas prices going up in the midst of this, and you know it. Most people just assign all blame to president they dislike and all credit to ones the like. For everything.

My anti-Trump mom is super guilty of this, but she at least admits it when I call her out. Will you? You act like Tron being a Trump hater and Biden defender is ridiculous when you do the exact same thing for your guy.

Seriously? I have none for Biden Davey and you surely can name the bad decisions/actions by Trump. I believe we are done here until we meet in person.:hattip:

PS Please help your comrade Tron out and begin with the list of good decisions/actions by Biden. :up

I didn't like one bit Trump okaying $600 for COVID + their state's unemployment = more than what a worker earned for 40 hour's pay while sitting home all week. See my post about Green Stamps call it SNAP whatever? Trump's decision IMO lead to less incentive to go back to work.

What UMass's highest payment? Like $974 + 600 = $1574. I forgot but add to that the what was $1200 lump sum payment to every family. Guy at work 5 kids felt like a big winner of a scratch off ticket. And with FLA's low max unemployment comp at $275 + 600 = $874 you do the math for a young $13-14 an hour FLA employee living at home.. Plus of course the lump sum payment and there out fishing for who knows how long?

Lol. Quoting an editorial from CNN is what you came with? I knew it was CNN before I opened it. I don't have the time right now to give my all to this thread. I'm not a Trump lover due to my issues with his character flaws. His ego got in the way of his leadership. I do believe that his take no shit attitude shook the status quo in a good way. I don't want him to run for a second term and believe we need a refresh from the Republican party side. The democract side is out of touch with reality and destroying our economic future.. Putting Biden in charge was clearly a detriment to our country. He is a puppet and weak leader.

Thanks for showing up.
You disagree with the article? Lets hear it. The "lol quoting CNN" is weak, and typical. You can do better, I'm sure.
Monkey asked for a specific instance of something Trump did that was wrong. I posted something, and the article I posted appears to be true.

EDIT: Sorry just saw your Trump post

Plommer. I wouldn't look to Fox for info on Biden just as I wouldn't look to CNN for info on Trump. There's a clear agenda is my point.
