The point is you couldn't avoid work in their system. You couldn't accumulate wealth. The difference in salaries of a bricklayer and a doctor was just 200 marks per month in DDR - now, this is exploitation.

I don't see that as exploitation. And the point is not to avoid work in " their system", whatever hypothetical that may be, but to avoid work in this system. Can you see the difference?

Did you get it?

I’ll find out tomorrow. Tomorrow I’ll have definitive answers from 4 places. My plan is to work two places. If I can get the strip club gig, I can work lunch shifts at one place and late nights at the club.

Officially took job at new Italian place opening up on the strip across the street from the Pallazzo in the fashion mall.

Now onto looking for late night gig. Things are falling into place.

There's been an Italian place there forever.

Been seeing a lot of concerts lately. Saw System Of A Down at the arena where the Knights play. Nice place, but I can see if you aren’t in the 1st two levels for a hockey game, it’s a bit high up.

My new job has roughly 40 FOH employees. Thankfully I don’t find any attractive and probably more thankfully, none of them find me attractive either lol.

This city has definitely changed the last 8 years. A lot of construction.

Maxipad is leaning against Vegas now for the foreseeable future. Sure the action at the tables would be the best there, but I estimate my Uber expenses would be equal to a month's rent or more. Maybe some day.

I'll leave Vegas domination to
Casp.

Go on one of those scooter rentals that are popular out west

Buses are cheap. I learned that in my first foray out here. I’ll even be willing to give you a ride when I’m available.
