Anyone Ever Own An Audi?

There are only 2 downsides to going BMW IMO: You can't go 14 feet down the highway without seeing one so there is a pawn-ish element to them and I've met several people who really dislike the run flat tires.

Beyond that tough it's an incredible car (although the cabin on the 3 series is a little tight if you're a tall drink of water like myself).

The cabin space on the A4 felt much roomier to me than the 3 series. The new A6 is just a ridiculously cool car but the price is STEEP


Audi's are also notorious for the "oil issue". I wouldn't dream of owning an Audi that wasn't under warranty.

If the tire gets punctured you can still drive at low speeds up to 50 mph for 50-100 miles without damaging the tire. So if your AUDI doesn't have it and you need this feature you can replace your tires with the Michelin run flat tires. If you buy a used one you will need to replace tires soon because the original tires don't last more than 40,000 miles.

I test drove an A4, A5, and A6 before buying my BMW. The A4 was too slow especially with all-wheel drive. The A5 was alright, but I didn't like the hatchback look to the rear windshield and it wasn't very spacious. And the A6 just wasn't as smooth or quiet of a ride as the 5-series.

I was sold when I took the BMW out and got it sideways hammering on it going up the on-ramp.

Def not loaded. I dont believe in buying cars on credit either. Audi cost nearly 2x here what they do in usa (yet there are tons of them on the road wtf). Even at us prices that would be way too high a % of my net worth to tie up in a car. Maybe if i had my roll and a job, but my roll is my job.

Nice pick Monkey. I drove a bunch of 5-series when my dad was working for BMW a couple years ago - the 535xi had phenomenal grip, although the power seemed to be lacking. I'm sure that trhe 5-liter 8 fixes that problem.

Have had these on a few cars. Pain in the ass in my opinion.

Bought my wife a 2008 M6. Awesome car. Never been in anything that made it next to impossible to obey the speed limit. Would be onhighway, look down at the speedometer, and realize you're doing 110 when it felt like you were going about 55.

My issue with the run flats was that I had ran over a tiny screw at a jobsite or somewhere. Had the car parked in our garage, and
called the tire shop (possibly Deuce's) to discuss getting this tiny hole patched. Was told that these tires are not warranted for any sort
of patch or repair. So this tiny-ass little hole was going to cost me like $350. Total nonsense.

This combined with the fact that I literally would get pulled over at least once a month in that car led us to trade it in a few months ago.
Now she drives a very practical X5. Not gonna lie....even though its a turbo, not near the same vicinity as that car as far as pure
adrenaline. But much more practical.

I've never owned an Audi, but I have a client that owns nothing but Audis. He has the means to drive any car he wants any day of the week, but is absolutely loyal to this brand. I would think their performance and reliability have to be on par with BMW and a few other
luxury makes. I wouldn't hesitate to get one.

Regarding the extended warranty.....I know BMW has a Certified Pre-Owned program in which the warranty actually exceeds the one
you would get if you bought the car brand new. Not sure why that's the case.....but it absolutely is. We've owned several BMW's in this
program, and its a fantastic deal for your peace of mind. I'm not into working on cars, so I want assurance that I can get something
repaired or replaced easily with minimal cost or hassle.

Just went by a local dealer and looked at a few on the lot. Of course the one that really stood out was probably a tad out of my price range, but WOW I really liked the look of this car.
