Interested in getting a new car (probably not new, maybe in the 2008-2010 range) and I really like the looks of the Audi line, just interested to hear if anyone has personal experiences with driving these cars, or if your friends have had one what they thought, good or bad.

Buy a pre-owned Audi, buy an extended comprehensive warranty. Expensive vehicles to own. Lot of fun to drive.

By expensive vehicles to own do you mean they require a lot of maintenance? My Toyota Solara has been a very good car for about 6 years, only had to change the tires and brakes (things that you have to change on every car). I am not a fan of going to the mechanic.

My dads just got rid of his. It wouldnt start like 10 different times over 6 months. 5 trips to get it fixed resulted in a solution of plugging it in while in the garage. Lot of good that does when leaving it at the airport. It was 9 years old, but the mileage wasnt bad and it still drove great.

Don't buy extended warranty. Never had a car break down on me and I do my own maintenance on my cars like changing the oil, fluids, filters, batteries etc. You can save lots of money by doing your own maintenance and it's not really hard. If you can use a screwdriver and a ratchet you can do it. AUDI's are good vehicles and you will love it.

Love Audis. Never owned one but my family has, dad and stepmom and bro work(ed) for the VW group for the better part of the last 20 years.

Like McBee said, they ain't cheap to repair.

The new A5/S5 & A7 coupes are absolutely badass.

MY ex girlfriend had 2, they were great cars to drive use take them off roading all the time and pretend to be a rally racer.

One of them had all kinds of electrical problems, so her daddy bought her a new one.

Saw poll somewhere that the car most popular among girls who cheat was an Audi.

I test drove an A4, A5, and A6 before buying my BMW. The A4 was too slow especially with all-wheel drive. The A5 was alright, but I didn't like the hatchback look to the rear windshield and it wasn't very spacious. And the A6 just wasn't as smooth or quiet of a ride as the 5-series.

I was sold when I took the BMW out and got it sideways hammering on it going up the on-ramp.
