FOK ME!!!!!!!

They can't all be bad beat stories at Ocala Poker. Sometimes it's just bad play.

Opened the place up today and played very solid poker all day long. Worked my way up from $500 original buy-in to about $1200, Took a tough beat and then mucked around with hands that required seeing a flop with but would miss and fold. Never once showed anything but the nuts or at least best hand on any move I made all day.

Back down to $650 and got stubborn with middle suited connectors with a decent raise pre-flop and 5 callers. Flop comes and I am open-ended and a guy leads out with a modest bet, a couple of guys fold, I re-raise all-in only to discover my bad timing as the guy who led out and original raiser flopped a set. I didn't complete my straight and came home to bang my head against the wall.
 
FOK delivery people who give you a 3hr window and are going to appear in the dying minutes before the window closes. I can hear everyone at my neighbours romping in the pool and the bbq has started and i'm still waiting for this tosser to rock up and bring me my shit while my son and friends are having a blast.

Oh yeah, happy holidays everyone! Xmas Eve here and Oxy's about to get a bit tipsy before sun, fun, carols and church xo

I thought I'd be all cutesy this year and save a shitload by ordering things from the US... until I went to the post office to ask how long it would take to get a parcel to Roguey. The guy laughed at me and told me to wait until after Xmas so instead I paid inflated Oz prices for plastic shit that my son will probably just ignore after 5mins anyway and I'll have all this other crap coming probably in April. :selfbash:

I sometimes get stuff from Phillipines in anywhere from 8-30 days, average is about 14 days..
but last Xmas a letter got lost and it showed up 3 months later:lol:

April was just a guess but I'm reading all of these horror stories on my fb wall of people who ordered things in the spring (fall for you) to get good prices/take advantage of day after Thanksgiving sales and they still haven't received their packages. And since it's Sat here and no postie delivery, they're not going to before Xmas. This country is an island so everything is massively quarantined before it comes in... things stay with customs some times for months if you're unlucky. Other things get right through.

I remember when I first moved here Hillary Swank got fined for taking an apple off the plane when she flew into NZ. Crazy shit. My fault though because I kind of knew better. It's all good.. more crap for the landfill :)

Yeah it's bloody mental.

I understand it to some extent but this country also has the highest rate of asthmatics and hay fever sufferers anywhere (oksy fact)... never seen so many asthmatics in my life. Everyone's a fucking asthmatic. I know like 2 back home. It's like we have poisonous snakes, spiders, Americans and Brits who try to contaminate the land... maybe introduce something to build up people's tolerance to whatever the fok causes asthma?? Never seen anything like it before in any country I've lived in.
