what does that test tell you?

no idea, i guess if you have a heart problem. they put you on a treadmill and monitor your heart for a few minutes. no idea why that costs so much. its probably $200 in colombia even without insurance. i think this is all caused by my medicine. doctor thinks it could be side effects from my cancer treatment 10 years ago.

And to drink less, possibly exercise more.

thats the problem now, i cant exercise. anything that gets my heart rate up and it hurts.

Yeah. My last hospital bill was reduced almost 80% for paying cash. Went from $8500 to $1700 and change.

Apparently I aced it. Doc had no idea what could be. I did blood and a bunch of other stuff too, really healthy minus some sinus. I got pissed and didn't return. Drank nothing but water for 30 days, no alcohol, juice, milk, red bull, nothing. It stopped.

but the stress test is kind of a racket i think

my father had one, results came back great and dropped dead of a heart attack 11 days later

i also had one, was told i had major heart issues, got flown to Toronto to have all of these tests only to find out i was completely fine

It is actually quite dumb to offer big discounts to people who pay up front in cash. Those are the type of people that would actually pay the bill in full.
