true story...was in newcastle, england, back in the 80s. place called the tuxedo princess, big-ass cruise ship that had been converted into a multi-level meet/meat market, about 7-8 different types of pubs and discos. female-to-male ratio in newcastle is amazing. buddy and i had been cruising through the different bars on the ship and finally made our way to the huge disco. the dance floor was full of gals dancing with each other while the guys were mostly just standing around watching, looked kinda' funny. so my buddy and i make this bet to see who can get the most girls on the floor dancing with each other. i topped out at five at one time, he won with seven. i'd see a group of 3-4 gals and just walk up, stick my face into the middle of their table and say, "excuse me, ladies, but i can't figure out which one of y'all is the prettiest so would all of you like to dance?" and they'd come out to the dance floor. funny thing was they would all bring their purses and set them by their feet, which was odd to me. when they started pumping the dry-ice smoke onto the floor, they'd pick their purses up and hold them while dancing. turns out there had been a rash of thefts so the women never let their purses out of their sights.

odds are very much against such an occurrence. there's a large age gap that is probably insurmountable. she looks to be in her 20s and my wife is in her 50s, so i don't think it will work out.
