New entry at #11, Corner Creek, which is usually unavailable here. The LCBO cashier who told me about it was the actual person who decided to import a dozen bottles for the branch he works at. Unremarkable stuff that's priced accordingly. Tastes younger than the 8 years it's advertised at, and I can't discern any specific characteristic. It's bourbon alright.

I vaguely remember having a shot of Jameson. To me, all scotch tastes like bad medicine. I'm told that whiskey newbies usually prefer the sweeter taste of bourbon. That's very much my case. I'll have fokken Jim Beam White over Johnny Walker Blue and I'm not kidding one bit.

Will need to revisit scotch one day, but for now it's all about the American shit.
