MrMonkey has been talking lately about trying to convince MrsMonkey to participate on the forum and it has got me thinking.

I have a new significant other and I dig her a lot - but do I want her here?

First reaction - no, not really. It's not just because she might look through my posting history and see things I have said about her. She wouldn't like me blabbing away about stuff she would want private. But I am pretty sure I could talk my way out of trouble.

But if she was here every day, I think it would change my mojo. I am sure some kind of equilibrium could be reached and it would be fine, but I am definitely not campaigning for her to post here.
 
Same for me, I don't want my significant other anywhere near the places I post. You guys are some of my favorite people, and if I want to vent about stuff on my mind, I'd like to do it without censoring any of the stuff that might make the boyfriend upset. Plus, he really doesn't have any clue on how promiscuous I used to be, and my posting reflects that enough that I'd have to change my entire style here.

No I am as pro-Sickler as it gets. I would not do anything to upset Sickler. I was going to make a little joke along the lines of:

Almost every time his sister has totally come on to me, I have put my foot down and said NO!



But I am not going there.
 
Dancegirl is on this forum and on RBS but she doesn't ever come over here. She goes over there to get points so she can donate to charities because she thinks that is pretty cool....

In some ways it is bad becuase it gives people ammo against you and in others it is good because she can't really complain about me being on it. I don't know I go back and forth about.

I get that.

I'm not sure how my gf would feel if she was exposed to it. She is kind of goofy and off-beat so she might connect. There is lots of stuff she would hate but then again there is a lots of stuff I hate (thinking more about forums in general than GameLive specifically).

Yeah, my old lady thinks tha all of you degenerates are losers, which pretty much puts me in that category as well. She forbids any pictures so I can even do that if I want some later. As for being a loser, I just tell her that it is my loser ass that makes all the money so that she can have a full time no pay charitable job to help fix cats, and to shut up about it before I replace her with a high priced escort 4 times a week.

I was thinking this at work for a moment. What other couple has successfully posted together at a forum? In my 1.5 years at this, I can't think of any? Robyn, imagine how cool you would be without the DoughBoy? :propeller:
