Yes, win. A win in recent historical context and with respect to Trump's stated goals (and I personally feel a win in the macroeconomics se sense). Full stop. However Id be careful with the superlatives since it's well within the range expected outcomes for nearly any politician. In other words, its basically a normal conservative outcome - Trump hasn't rewritten US/China relations, the trade negotiation play book, or really done anything outside of expectation for a US president.
The prescription drug mandate, basically resetting how the largest US customer (the US govt) calculates what they'll pay is a win as well if you're a moderate/slight liberal. It's basically the federal government telling drug companies the max they can charge. It's definitely big government (slightly nationalizing). This is a good one because it'll really identify the partisans. Anyone who argues in favor of a fairer more accessible healthcare system and criticizes this move is just an anti-trump partisan. Likewise, anyone who professes to be a small govt free market capitalist who lauds the move is just a pro trump dick sucker. I like the move, I think it will cost private enterprise a lot of money but helps out poor people in a ratio i can abide by. At the end of the day itll definitely end up increasing cost for the Americans who can pay for insurance and medical care.
