What's Your Cell Phone Carrier (US)?

You know I've had Verizon forever and haven't really thought about switching. How much money do you think one could save by going from Verizon to another carrier? I hardly ever use the cell.

How much do you pay now?

All carriers have a deal now for unlimited minutes and texting for $40-$50.

Verizon + AT&T = $40
Sprint = $45
T-Mobile = $50 + 500 MB of data free

All others you can add $data for $10-$50 depending on what you need.

But buck to buck T-Mobile is the best for $70 all unlimited.

Problem is only Verizon works pretty much everywhere. I know T-Mobile we have now doesn't work in Nebraska or West Virginia which are two of my prime vacation spots.

$119 per month! No idea what I am getting for that, but considering I only use it when I'm away from the house which is not often, I think I could do better. I suppose a big part of that is data? ...guess I should look. I was able to use it as a mobile hotspot today when the power was out..that was nice. ....I had no idea the plans varied so much in price.
 
Straight Talk $45/mth + tax unlimited calls, text, net.

If you want a good phone though it'll cost you because no plan. I think the Galaxy was something like $250. Lapses in coverage are extremely rare. Being locked into a plan is getting outdated imo
