That's cool. @ Matty.... I bought a bottle of Maker's Mark tonight for the cabinet...I had a couple nice shots...That 1st one is a lil rough but the 2nd one was mighty smooth.

Yeah, I recommend adding a splash of water to young bourbon like Maker's.

Forty Creek doesn't need it.

i know quite a few guys who have switched from crown to forty creek...sweeter taste and mixes better they say...

Yeah, Forty Creek has a lot more flavors going on and there's very little alcohol burn if you drink it straight.

I went to the Forty Creek distillery 2 weeks ago and I tasted their Confederation Oak expression ($70 a bottle) and it wasn't any more interesting than the basic Barrel Select ($25 here).

Haven't hardly touched the patron, though I will have to now that the whiskey is all gone.

I do not thing Whiskey is Steves drink. AT ALL.

But it keeps me happy and energetic, I was using my banister on the porch and my yard like a gymnastics meet, was fun to me. Brought back some good memories, oh yeah, and I still got it.

Set up the volley ball court, just waiting for him to play with me.

Ray, not only is it sweeter, but is a little richer, but I like that, but it is a lot smoother, Ray...if you haven't tried it yet, You really should, it is actually pretty damn good.

I dont like it. Not a fan of canadian whiskeys. Can't say i didn't try.
