I don't see anything wrong

Yeah, this is a tricky one.

I mostly agree. I work for a company that promotes this stuff, and promote online casino gaming in my role, which undoubtedly leads to new problem gamblers.

I don't think two consenting adults should be restricted from placing bets on anything they want to. And this is just a more convenient and larger scale version of that, so I don't really think it should be morally or legally wrong.

It's just sad, exposure-wise. For every 100 people who participate who otherwise wouldn't have (didn't think to seek it and/or respected that it wasn't legal where they live), ~55 or so of them will enjoy responsibly and have fun. ~40 or so of them will bet and lose money they don't have to bet and lose, putting more financial stress on themselves and family.

And then that 1-5, gonna be some awoken addiction demons and real problems.

The state wouldn't care if it was one of their lotto games. We have a customer who used to play$200-400 daily on the Michigan online keno.
