Well boys and girls summer has left us and Fall is here.

I haven't invested in clothes in awhile, but I decided I want to get more in style.

My money situation is increasingly comfortable these days :abc: and I want to be in looking sharp when I do go out.

I've never really gotten into that before, having been engaged or in long relationships on such a consistent basis.

I can spend some some good dough on some good threads.

What's in style as a 35 year old who still has the outlook of say a 25 year old (except for the abundance of wisdom, of course).

I've seen Matty looking quite dapper in some sportcoat combos. Fiver has his plaid thing going on I can't pull that off. Coug has more of an alternative thing going on, I'm not that guy either. I'm more of a professional look guy when I try I mean.

So, let's consider money not an issue (within reason). There is a JCPenny and Macys not too far out.

Let's have it.
 
I need new clothes too.

I'd go for the modern-classic shit. Think Barney Stinson. Suit with dress shirt, no need for a tie.

You're over 30, don't try to be hip and trendy. You're not. You're over 30.

I essentially dress like I'm in a jcrew catalog. Really, 75% of my shit is from there.

I think what you need to do when you are shopping is find 60% clothes that you are comfortable (physically and mentally ) in. Then fill the other 40% with clothes that make you say "I would never wear that out/could pull that off." Wearing that shit is gonna make you feel like $1,000,000.
 
Def a full length wool coat (black or camel). Make sure its well tailored, or get it tailored. This might be better for late fall, through winter.

Also get a sophisticated cap for your dome. I prefer the ivy cap variety, but there are tons of styles to choose from.
 
Lol I appriciate your comment. I am very into men who ate fashionable, however the men I fall in love with always have basic men's fashion. Levis and Dockers. Polos and target plain tshirts. Morona or wherever that brand is of shoes. I will say, Chris wears gorgeous suits with cuff links. Thats what he was wearing when I met him. Hot.

Cali, will you go shopping with me sometime? I want to be in style for fall too. Macy's in Herald Square is pretty solid.
