The part that bothers me is why its ok to drop 1000 lbs bombs on people but you can't gas them.

Not that I disagree with your side, but I'd imagine it has to do with the chemical fallout. Where a bomb just creates and leaves destruction and I imagine the worst case being people with shrapnel and other projectiles being lodged into their bodies.

Chemicals can stay on lands for long periods of time along with slowly or quickly deteriorating bodies as we've seen with the atomic bombs for a obvious, large example. Bah I'm such an isolationist I'll probably never get much of this.

Not a mention of US using agent orange for years in Vietnam war. The children are still born with facial deformities.

The Vietnam War ended nearly 40 years ago, but the casualties continue as birth defects plague the country.

There are claims that thousands of children continue to be born with horrific facial deformities due to the 20 million gallons of Agent Orange chemical sprayed by the United States.

The Vietnamese call the disfigured youngsters 'the children of Agent Orange'.

Da Nang in central Vietnam is thought to have the highest level of congenital deformity in the world.

US helped Sadam gas Iranians according to declassified CIA documents.

CIA Files Prove America Helped Saddam as He Gassed Iran

well yeah, US was big supporter of Iraq against Iran. :dunno:
Does anybody still believe that US rhetoric against "WMD" is intended as anything more than an excuse to allow some military adventure? They've cried that wolf so often that even the American public is not buying it.
