Meanwhile back in Canada, our government has shut down once again or 'prorogued' Parliament. For those of you who do not know what this is:

prorogue def; Discontinue a session of (a legislative assembly) without dissolving it.

ie; they are hiding from a scandal. In short, our crooked elected officials are just taking a paid holiday and not dealing with the Syria issue at all, or anything else for that matter. In the news today.

Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau says Parliament should be recalled immediately to debate the situation in Syria whether Canada plays a role in any intervention or not.

As a way not to support the US government as is expected of them?

Yup, lets go ahead and potentially start another war, waste billions more...that should help with the deficit.

They ain't sticking around.

The US is not going into war, it's a tactical military strike similar to what NATO did with Libya two years ago. What's different now is that the United Nations security council will not rule in favor of the intervention. Why? Because Russia and China will not approve it. So it's a three pronged attack led by the US, the UK and France. Now you have varying opinions, like Turkey is in full support, Italy demands security council approval, Canada are indifferent. Something very important, the Germans will end up backing the US.

The proroguing had already happened before the Syria conflict heated up...

I don't wanna highjack the thread RJ so if you want more info google Canadian Senate Scandal 2013 and you can read about the extra $$$ our senators have been caught spending.
