i do this about once a day
 
saw that one team had gone up to +115 around 11:41 AM and assumed it was the home team.

unfortunately vegas and most odds services that cover European soccer differ on which team to list first, the home or away team. figured out we had bet the wrong side when we did our daily status report.

like the great bigdaddyqh once said, there are winners and then there are sharps. we should just go to the window from now on and say "barca, madrid, bayern ml for as much as potato can".

this week sucked.

Not a bad idea to bet the wrong team once a day. I do it all the time so the books won't know I'm always chasing steam.

Lost at least 4 tickets (Donetsk, Juventus, Copenhagen, and Olympiakos) on the casino floor.

Just fell out of Potato's pocket. Ticket writer was writing down what Potato was wearing on a piece of paper as he placed his bets. Texted Tomato his suspicions and during the time he grabbed his phone they must have fallen out.

Went back less than 5 minutes later, re-traced his footsteps, searched every garbage bin, and they had vanished.

Not hoping out of spite that they lost because we then went onto 2 different casinos and bet the same sides.
 
apparently you can fill out "lost ticket forms" at some casinos. we did that after work. the guy who picked them up cashed olympiakos +0.5 but didn't cash his push on juventus +1. when he tries to cash it (or if 60 days passes, whichever comes first) the ticket gets counted as lost and we get our money.
