I’m not a “PCA” guy but I would argue that pitching is better now than it was for Bonds. League average OPS is lower now than it was for Bonds and I’d attribute most of that to pitching.

Cal Raleigh came within literally an inch from not advancing out of the 1st round of the Home Run Derby. Never seen that before. They went to a tie breaker after he and Rooker tied with 17 HR’s.
