I want single issue bills.
I understand why we have convoluted bills that have a bunch of good stuff and a pile of shit all rolled into one (so all the politicians get paid) but damn why can't we just be logical and attempt to fix things.

I agree. I have no problem with horse trading on individual bills - you sponsor mine I'll sponsor yours. Each of those ultimately has to stand on the merits. The pork barrel shit is out of control.

And considering the GOP has the House, Senate, and the presidency, this is the time. If you are going to actually TRY to fix things you'll get it done quicker with streamlined legislation.
Also, if Repubs get cooked in the midterms it will be a complete waste of 2 years. Long way to go here, but I'm getting impatient. Stop fucking around. What did you have Elon and Big Balls come in there to "cut waste and fraud" for just to raise the debt ceiling to the highest in history?
