I'm not sure what the point of this thread is. Music made for commercial purposes is heard by a lot of people. That is a very pretentious, hipsterish topic for a thread.

someone introduced me to the supersuckers not long ago and i thought to myself...ya know, these guys are fucking good, but when one of your best songs is titled "pretty fucked up", not many in music land are ever going to hear you. enjoy playing small concert halls and theaters and having nobody know who you are until you make a few changes...
