I just realized that I cannot "read" the alphabet. I sing it in my head. Thats how I was taught in kindergarten and I still do it the same way today.

If I read each letter then pause for a second I'm good but if I read it quickly my brain sings the letters.

It's for life.

My 2 year-old nephew sings the alphabet in a slightly different meter than I learned it. He has a pause after S that we didn't used to have, and the ending is slightly slower and more drawn out.

Plus he always ends it with, "Cha cha cha," I don't do that.
