that's why I mentioned weeks 15 and 16
in the past we've seen the Colts, Saints, Pats let off the gas or contemplate letting off the with a few games left not just the final game.
regardless if the starters play the game or come out early, or don't play at all. its tough for a 13-1 team with nothing to win, its hard to "get up" emotionally for week 16 2nd to last game of the year with everything clinched... that's fine, that's just the way it is.
but it just hit me how much that would suck for an owner, sweating out that week wondering if his star was gonna play or not, how much, should he start a backup instead.. I remember there always being controversy about this subject on that radio, and fantasy wasn't even brought into the conversation. I think it backfired enough times on the Colts that teams pretty much don't want to go that route anymore anyways.
who knows though, we might see it with the unblemished Packers. I'm not sure Chicago or Detroit is gonna push them the entire season. although I hope they both do, as the Pack finishes with Detroit and Chicago.
