It is on the other side of the city from me. I have never lived there or really had any reason to spend time there consistently. I have certainly passed through many times in my 50 years. I have had a couple of short-lived temp jobs there.

My general impression: stark, lacking in personality. Even when sunny, it always seems just a bit gray in Scarborough.

While appearance-wise, it is comparable to parts of my hometown of Brampton, I think there is more crime in Scarborough.

Scarberia, it is often called.

Scarberia.

Eye Weekly has noted that most media in the Greater Toronto Area has long portrayed Scarborough as an "embarrassment" and a "gang-infested wild, wild east". For instance, the Toronto Life article “The Scarborough Curse”, by Don Gillmor, nicknamed the former city "Scarlem" and described it as "a mess of street gangs, firebombings and stabbings".

All I know is Wayne "THE SPIDER" Simmonds seems to be able to scoop up and drive home any rebounds he wants so if it's from some ghetto shit he learned up in that piece all the power to him

You can't spell Scarborough without ugh.

I just thought of that. Trying to decide if it's any good or not.
