I agree with you about Grilli Archie, Pirates have been impressive but I wonder how long it lasts. Interesting to see if the Brewers come around, that Central is a tough division. Lets get you a smiley. Like you singing that Irish song in the bar.

You're uninformed.

But let's not let facts get in the way of a good BURN.

:yeahsure:

"The total cost to the county is $2.4 billion, spread over 40 years, to repay $409 million in bonds that will primarily, though not exclusively, cover stadium construction."

Sure good luck to the county paying $2 billion interest in 40 years for a $400 million loan through hotel taxes..

My name is Daft and for the next 30 years I will be paying taxes for a brand new MLB ballpark but only be allowed to watch a AAA team.

Yeah but you said this. ^

And like I said, you're wrong.

However shitty the Marlins loan is, it will be tourist taxes that will pay the loan because I'll be dead in 40 years.

Braves are scary good this year. There are no weaknesses in this Braves team.

I agree. This is one of the best years for baseball I have seen in a while and the Braves are just solid all the way through the lineup, they just went through a rough spot but face a home stand against the Twins and still lead a NL east that really is pretty weak, Nats may come on strong but I dont think the phillies are that impressive at all. Losing Venters is tough for the Braves but Kimbrel is one of the greatest closers I have seen. Minor,Medlen,Maholm, Hudson is getting older but still solid. The Upton brothers ( BJ will get back to his game soon and Justin is just killing it. Reed Johnson,McCann,Heyward,Uggla should start hitting the ball better. Solid team

This just a great year for baseball. The Yankees are still really playing great ball and they should get everybody back soon. The Cardinals,Orioles,Red Sox,Rangers,Reds, Giants and even the Pirates,Indian and Royals look really strong but the Indians and Pirates have a tendency to fade. The Indians have one of the best managers in baseball so I think they will hold on past a strong May this year.

Only really big disappointments so far have been the Dodgers, Blue Jays and Angels but I think all 3 will come around. Dodgers bullpen is a catastrophe. They are last in the west and the Angels are already now 12 games behind Texas. They came back last year but they are digging themselves a pretty deep hole and the Rangers look pretty solid. I thought the same thing last year though.
