You got to get out to the park and see Craig Kimbrel close, maybe one of the greatest closers ever if he keeps it up. Guy is just lights out. I am spending some of the afternoon watching golf and working with excel and was putting in stats for Kimbrel and it is just phenomenal looking at this guys numbers. He is starting where he left off from last year and last year was just phenomenal.

63 games last year, allowed only 7 runs, batters hit .126 against him( lowest in history), .65 whip ( third lowest of all time behind Eckersley), 1.01 ERA, set a season record for strikeout rate (50.2 percent of total batters faced) He struck out half the batters he faced in 2012! This team is stacked, I hope Kimbrel at least gets some recognition for a Cy Young award if he can keep it up this season, I think only a few closers ever got the cy young( Eckersley,Gagne,Sparky Lyle,Bruce Sutter,Rollie Fingers) You should take the kids out to see this guy.

Evan Gattis is one to watch and Kimbrel was a beast tonight. Had a rough patch for a few games but he is unhittable at times. 97 mph fastball. A four seam fastball and a wicked curve, I just hope he stays healthy.

Kimbrel with 25 K's in 16 innings pitched, 3 today in the 9th to close it out. Incredible to watch when his fastball is working.I have been really impressed with Grilli from the Pirates. Dodgers bullpen :pot:

I have a smiley. fuck yeah. :bumpforgregm:
