So it's his wife posing all sexy in a Mark Sanchez jersey.

I dunno. Maybe it's alright. I mean okay, it's got the inherent dumbness of doing anything like that with any sports team since it is almost definite you will be gone from the team at some point and then you move to some other team and you've got this permanent representation of the enemy on you.

But I'm thinking more about the erotic implications. I dunno. Maybe it's alright.

After his parents divorced while he was still a child, Rex and his two brothers moved to Toronto when his mom got a position as a professor at the University of Toronto.

He remembers using the money from his paper route to take the subway to Maple Leaf Gardens to watch his heroes like Darryl Sittler and Tiger Williams.

“I used to be a Leafs and Rangers fan, Rangers because my dad (Buddy) was coaching in New York,” Ryan said. “But if I had my druthers, it’s definitely the Leafs for me.”

I really don't think it's that bad, plus it's supposed to be his wife, not to mention it's no one's damn business. I like it. I mean there is no team name, so why can't it just be a sexy photo of his wife on his body?
 
Oh there's no question it's a Sanchez jersey. You can try to spin it in any number of theoretical directions but I know it's a Sanchez Jersey and Rex knows it and she knows it and everyone on the team knows it including Sanchez.

So you're looking to capture your wife in the sexiest possible way and the answer is . . . dress her up in the clothes of a specific guy you work with? Is it alright for those worlds to collide in that way?

Isnt Ryan always joking w/ the media and generally a not so serious guy? or am I thinking of another coach?
 
Maybe it's not a tattoo of Ryan's wife wearing a Sanchez jersey. Maybe it's how Ryan sees Sanchez. Maybe that tattoo holds the key as to why Sanchez can play so bad and stay the Jets starting QB come hell or high water.

Mmike, a better "joke" would have been a tattoo of Ryan's wife Tebowing.

Muddy I did think of it this way. That being said, and thinking on it now, I guess I simply have no other choice then to chalk it up to another stupid joke moment, much like Chad Johnson changing his last name to OchoCinco.

It's probably okay. It's just one of those things that lends itself to picking at by the gossipy hens of the world among which I guess I have to include myself in this case.

Women can look kinda sexy in a sports jersey, particularly when it's just that jersey and nothing else. Sports Jerseys are usually not generic. They are going to be a specific player. Who's jersey should Ryan go with, Tom Brady? Just imagine how the geese would gobble about that.

It's probably okay. More than anything, I just wondered if there was humor to be mined.
