The hair gel which is near empty is described as Modeling Gel-Creme with Minerals. Strong Hold 24h. Natural Style & Feel.
Now the new stuff I bought today is also a L'Oreal product with a "Hold rating" of 3 (out of 5). However this is the description:
Matt & Messy - Shine-free Dry Sponge - Texturized Messy Look
That doesn't sound the same at all. What was I thinking? Dry Sponge WTF??

I doubt anyone cares, but this is the best hair stuff that I have found in 20-some years of looking at hair stuff.

Even though I had some of the old stuff still, I could not resist trying the new stuff this morning. Dry sponge. It has a different texture in your hand for sure.
