Desk moved in and set up. He even has 2-3 sets of lights under the shelving which is nice. From a functionality stand point, this thing rocks.

I even threw a globe on there. Beginning to feel officey. Will definitely be better to do paperwork somewhere other than from the bed.

Thanks., . If not for Camicon, I may have succumbed to the negativity. Feels good to get a deal. I have no doubt I can resell when the time comes..probably at a profit. Hell, I may keep it forever.

Yeah. They used to be fun to look thru as a kid. Hell, that was the main form of research in the day for school reports. I don't think unless they are from the turn of the century they hold any other value though. I wouldn't actually use them of course. I just think they look nice on a book case.
 
Yeah..in no hurry really except when I get in the mood to chuck/sell stuff I feel I better get it done while I'm motivated. I'm never sure how long these phases will last.

Those damn things are heavy. Here's a funny story.

My brother (13 plus years older) took the A volume of our encyclopedia set to elementary school for some sort of class/project/report deal. He never got home with it. So for the good part of my childhood we never had the A book. I have no idea what prompted me to ask, but 15 years later (when I was in school,) I went to the school lost and found and they had our Volume A. I have no idea why it never occurred to anyone to ask about it before, or what prompted me to do it, but that was funny as hell. No one could believe that they had kept it that long.
 
I kind of want IAG's new desk. It's so much bigger than mine, and as everyone knows I have my superfly superfast dual monitor system actually with a flat screen right next to it. I have no lights on mine. I could have a nice place for my bills, hell I could put a small fridge on the damn thing always with fresh miller lite in it, spin around to see the flat screen looks like there's plenty of room to eat dinner as well maybe even put the Foreman on one part in case the need for a snack arises. I think Cami and I could sit next to eachother spinning around and playing with everything. I know I can't have it, but I want it or something like it.
