Ok Tron, so I made a protein powder drink this morning

I'm expecting miracles. I hope this doesn't disappoint. Going to the gym in a little over an hour. I hope it gives me wings...cuz right now I want nothing more than to lay in this bed and watch some chick flicks.

Is this something I should be drinking even if I am only doing cardio?


Somehow I would like to mix coffee into this drink, although it tastes pretty good on it's own.


I used powder, a cup of unsweetened almond milk and 5 ice cubes btw.
 
going to have to help me out here, iga ... and then ill set you straight... i believe archie is probably the most educated on this stuff as his transformations have been awesome, but ill give it a go...

what is the goal? lose weight...lose weight and tone up...just get stronger at any weight?

how long do you sleep at night?

when do you go to the gym?

what do you do at the gym? just cardio... cardio and some weights/machines?

how many calories per scoop of whey does the container say it has? i ask because you should only be using a whey "isolate" protein

Protein is for building muscle POST-workout.

You should get some kind of PRE-workout stimulant to motivate you through a cardio workout.

and muscle repair... fwiw, if you arent taking in at least 1-1.5 x your body weight in grams of protein, you arent getting bigger... protein shakes in the morning and after workout are a must, followed by a big meal an hour or so after workout ...should be a protein source in every meal you eat :yes:

if you are a cardio person, simple carbs and protein in the morning.. if you are a lifter, complex carbs and protein in the morning... one diet wont do it for everyone

usually 8 hours
when do you go to the gym? I go to the gym 2x a week in the morning and 2x a week early afternoon. I may throw in an extra workout at home on the other day...if so it will usually be morning.

what do you do at the gym? just cardio... cardio and some weights/machines? Just cardio for now...treadmill, bike, swim...I got this "trainer" to get me reacquainted with the machines as it has been a while since I've worked on those.

Incidently, I have had one shake early morning and one after workout..nothing since...probably need to eat more earlier, but like to save calories for evening (I know I know)
