I remember seeing a picture of a good looking young chick standing with a sign of her fiance asking people if anyone had seen him on the cover of one of the UW student newspapers. That shook me up.
The biggest travesty is what happened afterward. When everyone felt affected and united, politicians somehow reinstilled that deep wedge back into the mindsets of Americans. Sad.

can still feel the hollow, empty, scared feeling of that day.
I was working at a sherwin williams paint store in college, and I just was so pissed that people came in and still wanted to look at foken wall paper and ask questions about god damn primer and Caulk....
I thought for sure they didn't know what was going on, if they weren't at home glued to their tv.... ( I mean it was only like 10:30 or 11 at the time)
but i'd say, did you hear the news... and they'd say "yeah, horrible.... so is this border buy one get one free?"
wanted to shot them in the eye with some black caulk

LOL. I woke up at like 11AM or so to get up for class and I was a little hungover. My roommates were watching as the first tower was burning. I was like, "Wow. Crazy. You can see right where the plane flew into it." About two minutes later the second one hit. Then I was like, "Holy shit."
When the first tower went down, I was sick. I just kept saying, "Holy fucking shit." over and over again.

went on a road trip to check out some New Mexico casinos with Mr.X. We were staying at some casino hotel. He wakes me up saying "you should probably see this". My first thoughts were: who are they gonna invade because of this? I believe it might of been the morning after Mccafrey broke his leg.
