Been rumored for a while. There's more than enough interest for a 2nd team in the GTA.

going to see another run of many years of diluted talent pool/teams. The NHL should seriously force Jr. players from joining the NHL right away. Make them play at least 1 season in the AHL. The NHL has a fucked up rule that 18 year old players have to play in either the NHL or Jr. hockey, but they can't play in the AHL as an 18 year old. THAT IS FUCKED UP!!!

lol. Only Sports - Hockey. I'm a die hard TML fan. The T Sun used to have EXCELLENT NHL coverage. I'm all over the place now.

BTW..... my guess is there will be 2 expansion teams and 2 moves. Florida and Arizona will likely move and then Toronto and Quebec will get the expansion teams. There's no way you can have 4 new expansion teams without diluting the talent pool.

The talent pool was hugely diluted and teams were horrible after expansion in the early 90's. The same thing is going to happen if they expand by 4 teams.
