There is no way the league can expand by 4 teams. The NHL has to change some rules and let Jr. kids (18 years old) play in the AHL after they've been drafted so they can continue to develop their skills against bigger and older kids/men. That is one fucked up rule. It's basically rushing too many kids into the NHL because they are too good at 18 to go back to Jr.
 
The title of this thread happens to be a lie. There is no report stating that as fact. The Sun article which is linked makes frequent use of words like could and may which give it a completely different meaning.

I have heard this topic discussed by less bone-headed sources than the Sun too. But whatever, across-the-board, it's all speculative at this stage.

The Sun is a ridiculous rag which is famous for spinning and sensationalizing, but this thread manages to out-Sunnify The Sun.
