Never shot a .44 cal before Plommer but I am pretty decent with a 283 riffle no scope. Only target shooting though, I don't hunt.

Plommer, I am starting to give SERIOUS consideration as to where to go and what to do when I retire from the city. They have dropped the DROP program so either I retire at the end of my 30 years and go somewhere else and start collecting my pension as well or I stay on and continue working until I die.

Canada and it's relaxed system is now on my radar.
 
RJ, I don't/can't live anywhere they don't have running water to the toilet. My knees are too far gone to squat-n-poop or put the toilet paper in a waste basket and I haven't been in an outhouse since I was a very young child.

Maybe the Bahamas though.

Are you okay? On a scale of 1-10 where 1 is very depressed and 10 is ecstatically happy, how would you rate your general mood these days.




Using my own scale, I would rate my overall mood of the last few months a not-so-great 3.8.

I have very nice prime rib roast which I will be attempting to prepare for dinner though. That should be good.
 
Ok it's Friday, it's a holiday and I'm going to go play golf now.

I hope when I return Muddy will have stopped by and others will have shot the shit as well.

I should have titled this thread Porch Swing. Everybody shoots the breeze better on a front porch.

I would say my overall rating would be 8.5. It gets lower after upsetting Kato by harassing Daft but then it gets higher when I stroll through an annual audit by DEP. It dips a little when Teela doesn't post much but it goes back up when I think about the day that Matty really does nuke his roommates nectar.

It's about to go up even higher though cause I'm having a hotdog for lunch at the golf course.

Wal, come to Canada and apply for refugee status.

Wal, seriously, by the time you get here the US Dollar will be worth pennies vs the Canadian Dollar pal, you will be dirt poor.

I think Canada will eventually need to build a giant fence along its border to prevent (alien) Americans looking for a better life from entering our country illegally.
