This is probably the final installment in the Olympic Notebook. I had a great time with these games and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I remember when we heard that Vancouver had been awarded the games ~7 years ago, I immediately wondered and dreamed if we would have that moment on the final Sunday when our flag would be raised for men's hockey on home soil. Every time the games were mentioned, I would wonder about that again. It was quite a feeling to live that moment yesterday.
A sudden-death goal. Holy shit.
So many other great moments too. And all our athletes are so good-looking!
It's time for me to get on with my life now. I have had many things on hold for the last 2 weeks.
But there are some profound and great memories for a lifetime that came out of this for me.
