Mudder that porn chick comparison is crazy, but what is more crazier is that you were actualy able to put this comparison together.

Are you a porn fiend?

I have a feeling the USA is going to be crappy the rest of the games. Other than the hockey team we have a bunch of people in events that of course they "could medal" but would be no surprise if they didn't. I think USA blew their load in the first week....

Amby, not to hijack Mudder's thread, but I hear Ponikarovsky and possibly Kaberle ar headed to the Pens.

I dunno. I have been a single guy for the last year, alone here with my computers. I would not deny that some porn has been browsed.

A fiend though? I think it is more a case of me having a crazy memory for all kinds of trivia than actually being fiendish.

I saw an interview with Lindsey Vonn last night and she still has a couple more races. One is the slalom though which I don't think is her best race.

I would find it nice to have a Canadian step up and grab a medal in the Alpine skiing.

We have a fairly good medal chance in the women's 5000 km long-track speed skating today. We have two good prospects although apparently there is the one Czech woman who is the big favorite for gold. But maybe someone can put forth a heroic effort. We have good relay teams too apparently - long and short track.

Did I mention that the tension around the men's hockey is killing me?

Great day for Canada yesterday. 4 medals, all by Canadian ladies. 1G, 2S, 1B. Canada is now tied for the games lead in Gold medals.

The men won their hockey game to advance to the semi-finals. They looked great. Some wonderful passing.

I got my wish and Sweden beat out the GB men in curling so Canada plays Sweden next.

Things are getting intense for the hockey/curling fan like myself. There is a Gold medal game in women's hockey today between Canada/USA. I will be skipping my regular Thursday night meeting to stay home and watch this.

The men and women's curling semi-finals are today with Canada in both.

I will be in hog heaven.

She is not what I would call hot but Clara Hughes can make a case for being the greatest Canadian Olympian of all time, having won multiple medals in both the summer and winter games. She is a hell of a human being too who is about as good a representative as a country could hope to have.

She picked up a gutsy bronze medal yesterday in the women's 5000m long-track in the final solo race of her career. (I believe she is still to be involved in the relay.)

Canadian ladies win their third consecutive gold medal in hockey!!!

Canada is now tied with Germany and USA for Gold with 8.

Both Canuck curling teams win yesterday to advance to their gold medal games.

Men's hockey team on track.

:tank:

Canada picked up 2 Gold medals in men's short-track last night and now leads the games in Gold Medals with 10. Still gold medal games coming in men's curling and hockey.

:car:

The curling is today and it is BIG.

The women curlers choked away the gold medal yesterday I'm afraid. Missed an easy shot that would have won it - instead they had to go to extra ends - where they missed a better than 50/50 shot that would have won it.

I dislike women's curling.

Bump for purposes of adding new smiley I just noticed.

:canada:

I do not like this new smiley! I want one with a guy and an American Flag! I demand it!

Being as this thread is mainly just me talking to myself - and my computer abilities are only slightly more advanced than a chimp - it is probably not the best place to go demanding things like that.

Random thoughts I have:

As usual the american mens slalom skiers suck big time. They couldn't even make it down the hill.
I think the Mudman has something going about that porn chick, and I think I have seen her in a couple of flicks. Also, wasn't that the porno chick who was found dead a couple of months ago.
Curling may be CNBC's biggest all time ratings winner, what does that say about the sport or the popularity of finacial fake news.
Its about time the USA won at bobsleding, I hope it happens, but just like skiing, they usually find a way to eff up.

This is unrelated, but have you ever noticed that when a disaster happens almost anywhere, the first reporter they can get on the phone is 90% of the time British, 95% if you haven't heard of the country where the natural disaster happend.

Huge day yesterday.:canada:

First a progress report on the 4 pillars of my Olympic plan:

Ladies hockey - gold medal

Men's curling - gold medal

Ladies curling - silver medal

Men's hockey - gold medal game today.

And the rest of the plan was to cheer for Canadians in all these other sports I don't follow at all. At one point yesterday, we picked up 2 gold medals in a 5 minute span (men's long-track skating pursuit and Snowboard parallel Giant Slalom.) I don't know much about those sports but it was pretty freaking exciting all the same.

Canada currently leads all countries in gold medals - and we even have a bit of a margin. 13 versus 10 for Germany who are next closest. In fact if we win the big hockey game, we set an all-time record for gold medals.

We rock.

The tension around that big hockey game has kicked in. Killing me. The whole country is watching. Go boys!

I only have something going with her in the sense of seeing her pics on the internet. I would be glad to get something more substantial going with her.

As to the question of her being dead, I don't think so. She has a thread at the Peachy18 forum which I looked at because of this thread. Seems like it is being kept quite active and current, and I didn't notice any comments about death and whatnot.

The awesomeness of Canadian curlers is so overwhelming that people can't help but watch!

Congrats on gold.
