i will not even gander a guess at minimum wage here... 7-750 would be the best i could imagine (no googling)... if someone of solid background and experience wanted to move down to hang with me for a while and build on their resume, i would offer no less than $20 an hour for 30-60 hr weeks. its not up for grabs at the moment and when it comes open, i will (seriously) offer it to Patty first...but for now, my guys are solid...:venditto:

do they play Arrested Development's "Tennesee" and that country guy's "Walking in Memphis" Songs all the time down there?

do you have food rescue banks there? What is the Transient population situation? Are the Memphis Grizzilies owned by a Memphis man/conglom/consort? What % chance do you think the Grizz will still be in Memphis come 2020

What is the biggest international event that Memphis has hosted since 2000?

How many times does a dollar cycle through and within the local economy from your downtown touristy type businesses before leaving Memphis? What kind of tax breaks are the large business owner's pushing for?

Does anfernee hardaway come through Memphis to party?

i play golf with penny a few times a year...we have the same golf coach and he has a reciprocal membership at my club although he doesnt come play there too often... also play with stanley morgan a few times a year...
um, grizz have some potential for the next few years i think...
memphis has the annual Memphis in May world championship bbq contest every year...the entire month is packed with shit...music fest, bbq etc.
employment isnt that great, lot of gang activity in certain areas, crime is high...etc... its a city run by crooked ass black politicians, what do you expect. :dunno:
we have some food banks and halfway housing...stuff like that in the really shit poor areas...the hood is the hood, you know what thats like.
the music is great...lots of blues...some quality rap groups and country artist as well.

its not a bad place to live, the riff raff typically stay in their areas and the majority of the crime is black on black (typically gang related) ... Beale st. is a mess on the weekends...its very very dark and crowded...not the safest place in the world, but heavily secured ... theres a cop every few feet. beale st. crime and panhandling seems to be down as of late because of teh added cops...
