Generally no. However, if you have a creative argument where you have proffered some consideration (something of value) you may be able to make the agreement binding. If you had a high priced lawyer (me) I would argue that you gave up other opportunities, pledged your heart or some other bullshit that showed you "gave up something" in reliance of said promises.

Of course this all would only grant you damages, a money calculation of the services lost. There is not a court in the country that will enforce "specific performance."
