Mmike, it seems pretty cool from what ive seen. I was surprised to see that Great Smoky is the most visited national park in the country, ahead of Yellowstone and Yosemite etc...

just dont get suckered into taking any of the hikes...
my wife insisted we make a 3 mile hike along the Twin peaks trail. she was expecting 3 miles rouind trip.
nope 3 miles up the mountain at about a 45* incline on slick ass rocks.

it was brutal, and we didnt even make it all the way up, she quit about a mile from the top, and then we busted our ass all the way down slipping on the rocks

I don't think im even going to get out of the car, I was just thinking might as well drive through the most scenic part of the park since Im driving that way anyways.

Do you think there is a certain road that is the best for seeing shit or just driving through anywhere in the vicinity of the park is just as good?
