We went back to the same restaurant for dinner, Razdora. Incredible meal and experience once again. You ask the guy one question about him or his menu and he tells you the entire backstory of the foodstuff or life experience. He learned French while working the kitchen of a 2-star Michelin restaurant in fucking Norway.

I'm going to write a glowing review for it on the flight back home. The chef is a superstar - Matteo Monti. Guy is super passionate about food and about entertaining his guests. I admire his drive.

Oldest was Venceslau Fernandez in 1991 at 45 years old

3 months ago Lau wishing you a Merry Christmas if you're a believer or as well good health if you're not, in particular he's not a believer even if he was raised in the religion but it is part of our culture, at 80 still alive

I'm a cultural Catholic as well. I did a sign of the cross inside the Madonna del Ghisallo chapel, out of habit and respect for my upbringing, I suppose. Also cause I didn't wanna jinx myself and die on the way back down the hill.

I'm not really sure how to feel about it but I used a ton of ChatGPT during this trip, it was super useful. Instead of furiously googling for stuff to do I would tell ChatGPT where I was and ask for suggestions. It would ask follow-up questions like "what's your kid's energy level right now?" or "are you still feeling the effects of the Ghisallo climb?" and it tailored its suggestions based on the full context. It was like having access to a 24/7 concierge. Very impressed.

Today it helped me find pizza rossa, first by telling me that the "pizza froide" I grew up with was called pizza rossa, which I didn't know. Then it steered me away from grocery stores and towards traditional bakeries that focus on bread, as opposed to pizzerias. That was the right call.

Yeah. Super impressed.

Right but he probably did like us and walked 10 miles a day for a week. Walking around as a tourist adds up real fast.

Blue bars are regular Toronto life, green ones are Italy trip:
