Yeah Leyland was a legend in pittsburgh after that bonds confrontation....
when I got older and looked back, I think that managing some of those guys is why Leyland hung it up pretty quickly..along with the fact that Pittsburgh wasn't going to pay for stars anymore...

It was a hectic yet very rewarding day with my sons at the final game at SunLife stadium.
We laughed, we cried (my youngest scraped his knee), we ate chicken tenders, we switched sections (at one point we went to the Upper Deck to the highest row we could climb too and it was the highlight of the day) and we drove home happy as could be.
The Marlins were terrible but it didn't matter. My youngest laughed and sang and he enjoyed his food. We won.
There is video but they're in it and I don't feel comfortable posting it here (see Boingers post from last night).
