I'm a light sleeper and I had a gun under my pillow but you probably could have got to me had you stayed up long enough.


So I kind of feel like now that I survived one night in the same hotel room that I get a free pass for all future nights spent in the same hotel room.

But Daffy has kids so you always have to prepared for the unexpected. New city, people I've never met or hardly know etc.


I DO NOT sleep with a gun under the pillow at home (but there is one within 2/3 steps).

Daffy had one on the ankle at the bars in NOLA boys. Gotta be prepared to protect my Gamelivers if shit went sideways out there.

You can take a gun as long as you follow the airlines policies.

Here is American Airlines policy:

  Firearms and ammunition are accepted as checked baggage only.

• Firearms will only be accepted if unloaded and in a locked, hard-sided container such as a rifle case. TSA approved locks are accepted.

• Ammunition in its original packaging from the manufacturer is preferred, however it will be accepted in fiber, wood or metal boxes, or other packaging specifically designed to carry small amounts of ammunition. Loose ammunition or clips will not be accepted.

• Firearms may not be checked curbside.

• No one under 18 years of age may check a firearm.

• Pellet and BB guns are not considered firearms, therefore do not require any special handling or documentation.
