Had he been sick for long? I'm sorry if I should know that. No matter what the circumstance, it's tough to lose a parent. Thoughts and prayers to/for you and your family. I'm glad you are getting lots of support.

He was diagnosed with bladder cancer in February. We had thought it was contained and a neo bladder surgery would be the end of it all. A few weeks ago we learned that it had spread and the surgery was no longer an option. After returning to Florida I received a call from my brother that he had had a heart attack. I spent 2 days with him in the hospital before we suddenly lost him. Was going to be a long battle ahead and he went without any more pain. It helps that I was with him, but I still have my moments of anger.
