I haven't heard the plan for the offensive players. He's thrown away 2 games so far.

Me personally - I'm manager - I throw away zero. They have let KC right back in it and are tied.

First get your work done - then strategically rest guys.

Did anyone say he was going to sit the starters for the rest of the season? Or do you think that he gave the hungover bastards the day off today? I am honestly curious..

He just gave them yesterday off to cure the hangover. Even though HF isn't decided yet, I imagine they will use more players this weekend to keep hem sharp.
 
Regarding the starters, Gibbons said, Theyll all be in there (Friday) night. Nobody is shutting it down. Weve got to keep these guys playing until the end, get them ready.

"Except for two games where we will replace them with hungover minor leaguers."



He might not have said that last bit.
 
KC wins this afternoon so both teams sitting at a magic number of 2.

Jays facing Chris Archer tonight who is reputed to be a very good pitcher. Jays beat the living crap out of him about a week ago but still, he can be tuff.

If the Jays lose, their fate is out of their hands.
 
Every game tomorrow starts at 3 o'clock EST by decree of Major League Baseball.

Pretty good idea IMO. Last day of the season, making sure no one gets the advantage of looking at earlier scores which could effect their lineup decisions.

(Stl/ATL is the one exception with their doubleheader.)
