Plommer I need you getting us inside info on the spitfires.
I don't follow them at all pal.
A few years ago they moved the arena they play in from the barn near downtown all the way out to the furthest east you can go in the city, making it much too inconvenient for most.
If they stayed closed to me I may have attended.

Flyers turning it on lately, a couple nice wins.

Pretty cool.

Dryden

I still remember how shocked I was when I found out the Bruins drafted Dryden and traded him to Montreal. How the 70s might have been different.

The Leafs say hold my beer.

Bobby Orr was in their backyard and somehow Boston found him and signed him first.
The Leafs Traded Bernie Parent for Doug Favell.

Yeah the 70's pal.

Tully - has a chick ever given you "The Shocker"?

I wonder if Carter Hart has ever received the shocker.

Maybe that's why he's so good?

I think that's the exact reason.

Starting lineup for game 5 of the 1993 final against an aging Gretzky's Kings

Lyle Odelein, Brian Bellows, Kirk Muller, John LeClair, Mathieu Schneider

Not a bad roster at all in hindsight, although Patrick Roy basically stole the Cup

I think he gave a girl the shocker who didn’t want one

Lyle odelein was nuts

Sad. Guy could actually play hockey in his prime. 85 career goals.
