Happy Father's Day

Happy Fathers Day Matty again! I hope English is the only language taught to the youngster! Spanish is the only way to go for a second one for usefulness!

Just wondering now too, will the kid have that accent? Child at 5: "Mommy, why does Daddy talk funny?"

 Happy Fathers Day to all the real dads.

MrM Spanish is useless up here. Not that usefulness is a criteria. The 14th generation Rainvilles are gonna go to French school. Not just French immersion, but full French school. There are several of them in Toronto, one is about a 5 min walk from our place.

i wouldn't be surprised if plommer had a little cuban kid down there

Actually, I fear there is at least one.

Had a specific young lady friend hunt me down at one of the casa particulars I was staying at on one of my visits, I didn't tell her I was in Cuba, somehow she found out I was in town and made quite the effort to get in contact with me.

I think I'm gonna look her up on my next visit, whenever that may be.

Happy Father's Day to all of you! Speaking of fathers, Cobra King I was thinking about you this morning. Hope you have a wonderful day.
My wife and kids got me a Samsung 32" for the bedroom. Was very surprised and extremely pleased. Watching the Red Legs in HD RIGHT NOW!

:lmao:

Well played Rogatien.

Not to turn this thing into too serious a discussion, but learning that one is going to be a father does instantly change your perspective on abortion. For me anyway. The fetus is about to be tested for various genetic disorders - this is obviously a modern luxury that allows you to pull the plug on an imperfect baby and roll the dice again, so to speak. I remember thinking that that was neat.

Now, I don't know that I could pull the plug if my kid turned out to be autistic or had another crippling neurological disorder. As long as he or she is reasonably lucid and has all the parts in the right places, this is my kid. It feels very real already.

Are you at the stage in the child hospital drive-thru where you can chose colors and parts?
